Alexandra is a passionate educator who specializes in helping students uncover and tell their personal stories with clarity and confidence. With years of experience guiding students through the college admissions process, she is known for her ability to draw out the unique voices and lived experiences that shape each student’s journey.
As a first-generation college student, Alexandra understands the power of storytelling in opening doors to opportunity. Awarded a full-tuition Posse Foundation scholarship, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Hamilton College. While there, she served as a peer advisor, helping students craft standout resumes, write compelling cover letters, and navigate graduate school applications. She also led the Media Board, supporting student publications and fostering creative expression through different mediums across campus.
After graduating, Alexandra tutored students in SAT and ACT prep and specialized in helping students write thoughtful, authentic application essays. Whether guiding a student through the Common App personal statement or brainstorming supplemental essays, Alexandra’s strength lies in helping students connect with their values, experiences, and aspirations and translate them into narratives that resonate with admissions officers. She has worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds, including multilingual learners, first-generation applicants, and international students. Since high school, she has led workshops on FAFSA, scholarships, and financial aid, advocating for equitable access to higher education.
Alexandra’s approach is deeply student-centered: she listens closely, builds trust, and helps students tell their stories in a way that’s not only strategic — but true to who they are.
