Calista-Rae brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to the college admissions journey, having supported students through nearly every stage of the process—from admissions and college selection to career exploration and post-graduate planning. A graduate of Cornell University, she began her career in higher education in the Undergraduate Admissions Office before becoming the university’s inaugural Student-Intern Manager. After graduation, she served as an Admissions Counselor at Seattle University, supporting students and families across Washington and Oregon, before returning to Cornell as a Senior Admissions Officer. She later transitioned into post-high-school counseling work, guiding alumni through college transitions, personal growth, career planning, and long-term goal setting.
Through her experience in both admissions and counseling, Calista-Rae has developed a deeply student-centered approach grounded in honesty, encouragement, and individualized support. She believes there is no single “right” path to success and is passionate about helping students pursue opportunities that align with who they are and who they hope to become. She especially enjoys working with curious, ambitious students who are eager to challenge themselves and grow through the process.
