Mahnoor is a first-year medical student at the Keck School of Medicine of USC with a strong academic foundation and a deep passion for teaching. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Data Science and Bioengineering, where she served as a Biochemistry tutor and Head TA/Summer Instructor for a rigorous introductory Python programming course for over three years. Her tutoring journey began early—as a dual-enrolled student in middle and high school, she worked as an Organic Chemistry tutor and General Chemistry lab assistant at her local community college.
With nearly a decade of tutoring experience, Mahnoor has supported high school and college students from a wide range of backgrounds in mastering science and math subjects. She tailors her teaching approach to each student’s learning style, using active learning techniques, visual aids, and interactive assessments to make complex topics more accessible. She is dedicated to helping students identify how they learn best and reinforces lessons with personalized follow-up videos and quick reference guides to support independent study.
Mahnoor’s sessions go beyond rote memorization—she emphasizes critical thinking, real-world application, and creative problem-solving. She’s especially enthusiastic about using memory aids and concept mapping, and loves helping students discover strategies that work best for them.
Passionate about academic medicine, Mahnoor hopes to continue teaching and mentoring throughout her career. She is committed to helping students feel confident, supported, and excited about learning.
